Alaska Medicaid Eligibility Requirements - Non Income
Must be a U.S. citizen or qualified alien and Alaska resident.
Documents Needed For Alaska Medicaid Application
- Social Security number
- Proof of citizenship/immigration status
- Proof of identity for children 16 or older
- Proof of pregnancy if you are pregnant
- Proof of income
- Proof of childcare or dependent care expenses
- Proof you live in Alaska
Alaska Medicaid Benefits
Offers inpatient and outpatient hospital services; mental health and substance abuse care; rural health clinics; nurse, midwife, dentist, optometrist, and physician care; prescription drugs; physical therapy; medical equipment and devices (prosthetics, eyeglasses, dentures, etc.); preventive care and diagnostic services; family planning; labs and x-rays; home health services (such as nursing services, home health aides). Pre-existing health conditions are covered. Undocumented immigrants can only receive emergency care.
