Florida Medicaid Eligibility Requirements - Non Income
Must be a U.S. citizen or legal alien and Florida resident. Non-citizens that would be Medicaid eligible on all factors other than their citizenship status may be eligible for Medicaid to cover medical emergencies, including the birth of a child. Before Medicaid may be authorized, applicants must provide proof from a medical professional stating the treatment was due to an emergency condition.

Covers ambulatory surgical centers, birth center services, child health checkup, chiropractic care, durable medical equipment and supplies, federally-qualified health centers, home health hospital inpatient/outpatient care, laboratory, licensed midwives, physician, podiatry prescriptions, rural health clinics, therapy, x-rays.
