The Medicaid program is a federal and state funded program that serves needy individuals and families who meet financial and other eligibility requirements and certain other individuals who lack adequate resources to pay for medical care. The Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) is Arizona's Medicaid program.

Arizona Medicaid Benefits

Some benefits include Preventive care, Doctor's visits, Hospital services, Lab and x-rays, Emergency care, Family planning, Dialysis, Surgery, Behavioral health services, Podiatry, pregnancy, immunizations, physical exams, annual well-woman exams, specialist care, Prescription drugs for non-Medicare recipients. Children under 21 also receive dental, vision, hearing services, and Early and Periodic Screening Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT). Pre-existing health conditions are covered.
